Food is the most basic necessity, and yet, there are folks in our own state who can’t afford to fill the kitchen pantry because grocery prices keep getting higher from Republican economic policies. It is the job of elected officials to build people up, not bury them in impossible financial straits.

Prices are up on everything from gas to food to shipping, costing you more everywhere you go. Republicans think this is just the cost of doing business, but I think it’s unacceptable. I’m working to lower costs and keep money in your pocket.
We need to hold energy companies accountable, invest in alternative energy sources, and stop corporations from price-gouging everyday Michiganders.

Yesterday, SCOTUS rejected the Republican party’s attempt, under Trump, to impose new USPS restrictions on mail-in ballots. This means eligible Michigan voters can continue voting absentee by mail. This is a victory for democracy and every voter’s ability to make their voice heard.

It is always a good idea to make sure you are still registered to vote, especially if you have moved recently. Take 5 minutes and make sure you are doing your part to have your voice heard!

I agree with my colleague from Ann Arbor. I voted no against the Republican House Leadership's attempt to manipulate a voter-driven ballot initiative to get money out of politics here in Michigan.
If this assault on the democratic process was successful, it would have made "Money out of Politics" much easier to overturn by bought and paid for politicians. Michiganders are tired of the rich buying our elections.
I know the voters will make the right decision this November election.
