Thank you Reggie Miller for State Representative for having our backs! We all want our communities to be safe and there are plenty of remote places this waste could be sent where it will not be a lurking or immediate danger to people and local schools, airports, and businesses.

This evening at the Van Buren Township Board of Trustees meeting I presented a tribute from the State of Michigan recognizing Wayne County Commissioner Al Haidous for his 30+ years of tireless service to his community. Al has been an inspiration to many in his life and we all thank him for his service.

The Double Up Food Bucks program is a winner! More healthy foods for less is always a good deal for families!
So we have high food prices and now we are going to cover a significant farm land with green energy logic and economics tells you that this is a recipe for higher food prices.

Yom Kippur is a time for a time for reflection and renewal. Whether it’s through fasting or simply taking time for ourselves, let’s use this day to reset and consider how we can cultivate compassion and understanding in our lives. Wishing everyone a day of insight and peace!

I'm thrilled that construction of the Denton Road Bridge has finally begun! Last year I fought hard and got $10 million included in the FY 2023-2024 budget for the replacement of the Denton Road bridge causeway.

I was delighted to co-host the second annual 4-H Day at the Capitol! This is the second time I was able to sponsor the program. We celebrated the creation of the 4H license fundraising plate, heard from MSU President Kevin Guskiewicz, and spoke with a few of our current 4H participants.

Today is #WorldDyslexiaDay! A day to educate and celebrate diversity in learning. We've passed new legislation that focuses on early support for students with dyslexia. Our efforts to provide targeted resources for students with reading challenges are helping to break down barriers and give kids confidence in learning and life.
