Exciting News from Lansing! I’m proud to share that my legislation, HB 6131, has passed the House. This bill raises the sales cap for cottage food from $25,000 a year to $45,000 a year. This is a major step forward for Michigan’s growing cottage food industry, small business owners, farmers, and food producers. If passed by the Senate this package will head to the Governor’s desk to be signed into law. ... See MoreSee Less

More unemployment handouts needed...because Denocrats have created more unemployment in Michigan. There's going to be many more unemployed after small family owned restaurants and bars start closing because of the tips and wages taxes you also just passed. Why are democrats trying to ruin this state seemingly on purpose?
“This bill is a commonsense solution that puts Michigan families first. It will make sure Southeast Michigan isn’t treated as a free-for-all dumping ground for dangerous waste. It's about fairness, holding polluters accountable and making sure our environment is protected for generations to come. This bipartisan effort shows we can all agree on making Michigan a safer and healthier place to live.” ... See MoreSee Less

Miller introduced House Bill 5923 to ban the import of radioactive waste from other states into Michigan. Later a letter was sent to the EPA and USACE urging them to halt the shipments. Although a temporary injunction was initially granted, the federal government has resumed the shipments.
