Trying to justify the murder of George Floyd by pointing to fentanyl in his system is not only misleading, it’s morally reprehensible. The world saw exactly what happened: a man’s life taken in broad daylight by someone who was sworn to protect and serve. Last week, I was honored to moderate a Federal Actions Town hall with Attorney General Dana Nessel to discuss Michigan’s plan to fight back and protect Michiganders. Attendees asked about the lawsuits filed to fight back. The AG established a web site to keep track of the work she is doing to protect Michiganders.
