Registration for Light up Livonia is open until Dec. 8. Once that is complete, the Light Up Livonia Holiday Lights Contest entries map will be available for people to tour the lights. The map will be online through the beginning of the new year.

November is National Adoption Month, and I was honored to again attend the Michigan Supreme Court’s annual Michigan Adoption Day celebration
As the chair of the House Committee on Families, Children and Seniors, I am laser focused on improving the state's foster care and adoption system for children and families.
I'm truly grateful to the families who received the young people into their forever families and pray that more caring people will open their hearts and homes to other children like those adopted this year.
