Hello House District 32,
For this year's Presidents' Day, I want to remind everyone that the President is supposed to bring the country together. They are supposed to put the country before themselves. The President is supposed to lead the world with good intentions in mind.
This administration is not the norm, and I urge everyone in House District 32 to pay attention to what is happening in Washington D.C.

Hello House District 32!
As the new Minority Vice Chair of the Education and Workforce Policy Committee, I will be leading the fight to make sure we do what is best for our schools and our workers as a whole.🏫💼
This is not a responsibility I take lightly, as we know families are struggling and the bedrocks of our education institutions are fragile.
We need to empower our workers to fight for better working conditions and wages. We need to make sure our school districts are supported and that our students, our kids, are put in the best positions to prosper.
With so much uncertainty at the Federal level, Michiganders have to step up to protect our rights at home, and I am ready to fight!

Thank you
The Michigan Senate Democrats have filed a lawsuit to move the nine limbo bills Michigan House Republicans have held hostage from being presented to the governor.
I and my Michigan House Democratic colleagues applaud and support our Senate counterparts for taking action. By holding these bills hostage, Republicans are hurting Michigan workers including correctional officers, teachers, and first responders.
Michigan House Republicans are taking a page from Trump’s book of chaos and it’s a threat to not only Michiganders, but our democracy as a whole.
We will not sit idly by while workers are deprived of the benefits they rightfully deserve!

Hang in there, Jimmie. You have four years of this kind of resistance to slog through. Thanks for your efforts!

Just wanted to take a minute to thank our mail carriers today for all the important work they do.
On that note, I want to also thank all of our federal employees for all they do despite the #cultureofchaos in Washington D.C.
