Clean air is a human right! Please join me in celebrating National Clean Air Month this May.
We only have on planet to live on, no matter what some billionaires trying to escape to space may say, so we must do our best to keep our planet clean!
Too many factors from unregulated industry, to rampant forest fires, to pollutants in general all cost us our clean and safe air. Let's continue to fight for fresh air for all!

Hey District 32,
Today is Children's Mental Health Awareness Day🧠✨
It is a day we focus on elevating the needs of our kids regarding their mental wellbeing.
It is okay and normal to seek out therapy for our children when they are struggling, and even when they are fine!
Our kids have so much on their plates right now, and we as parents and thoughtful community members need to continue to do our best by them.

During Charter Day this week at the Capitol, I had the privilege of presenting Arbor Prep Academy’s Girls Basketball team with a tribute from the state of Michigan! Another huge congratulations on their division 3 back to back Championship wins🏀🏆

Teachers are more than educators — they’re counselors, mentors & role models. They take on these roles not for recognition or pay, but because they care. I hope Michigan Republicans join us in showing that we care — by passing a full education budget by July 1. #ThankATeacher 🍎🍏
