In Michigan, progress is being made to reduce new HIV transmissions through vital legislation. Last year, I introduced House Bill 5340, which would ensure access to pre-exposure prophylaxis (PrEP). PrEP is a proven tool in HIV prevention, reducing the risk of transmission by up to 99%. As we observe World AIDS Day, this bill represents a critical step in both protecting public health and ensuring equitable access to preventive care. Let’s continue pushing for policies that help end HIV for good. #EndAIDS #HIVAwareness #FightStigma

Had a wonderful time at the Hazel Park Holiday Tree Lighting! The event was so well attended, and it was great to see our community come together to kick off the Christmas season. I even got to meet Santa and Mrs. Claus! 🎅🤶 A big thank you to everyone who helped organize such a festive evening. Your hard work brought so much holiday joy to all! 🎄
