My husband is a Vet. We are seeing longer wait periods for him to even be seen by his doctor.
Good Morning State Representative Stephanie A. Young❤️🙏🏽❗️
What about the wait time? With everything going on in Washington, will there be a delay on everything?

So ready for a downtown Livonia!
This is so irresponsible spending and hostile to city property tax payers. This is not a walkable city; The city will gut natural wetlands and park areas to build an enclave of townhouses (totaly non-accesible by design to keep disabled and seniors out of sight) with new non-accessible library, city hall, police and fire station. It will harm and injure senior adults with tax increases; plus, trump and repukelcans giving themselves the largest tax increase in US history; musk, GOP, plan to cut social security, medicaid, medicare. Where is the money coming from? Trump cut block grants; yesterday, Michigan GOP Repukelican Speaker of House Hall called to gut Michigan budget and gut Michigan schools, state funded healthcare such as medical care for pregnant women; gut school lunches. Trump declared trade war on Canada and Mexico. Canada is not backing down with .25% tariff on electricity, and lumber, insulation, building materials... This means this downtown just got a automatic cost over run by 25% plus the cost of inflation on municipal bonds upwards of 4% to 15%. Let's do the math.... Original Vision 21 estimated cost was $258 million 2 years ago. x .25% tariff tax = add $64,500 million; subtotal $322,550,000 plus municipal bond plus interest of capitol outlay It's a money grab. Who benefits? Definitely not Livonia residents. We have zero money to pay for it. I'm not voting for any millage. 55% of Livonia is also against this.
How bad is this going to increase our taxes? 🤔

House Republicans hastily and irresponsibly passed two appropriations bills today, which would cut the state budget by almost 92%, gutting investments to a wide range of areas including state police, education, school meals for kids, veterans services and the Department of Health and Human Services.
Students and families in Michigan rely on dollars from our state budget to get by. Cutting billions from our School Aid Budget will have real life damaging effects on everyday Michiganders. This is a sad day for Michigan students and families. Every Republican in this chamber voted to put students at risk of not receiving the quality education they deserve, whether it’s kids learning on an empty stomach or losing out on quality investments in classroom programs.
