The Livonia Fire Department is sponsoring seven EMT/FF's through paramedic school starting in late September. Students will do their internship with the LFD and receive a monthly stipend as well. Back-to-school season has arrived! Though this is usually an exciting season, this year Michigan families, schools, and teachers are feeling anxious. Republican tariffs are increasing the cost of school supplies, which is forcing already financially strapped families to make a dollar go even further.
Here is an opportunity ease some of that anxiety.

Team Young canvassed Precinct 351 in the Castle Rouge neighborhood to let my constituents know how to contact us if they have a problem with state government. We are also talking with folks about their priorities and concerns to ensure Redford, Detroit and Livonia voices are being heard, and one of the best ways to do that is with direct, face-to-face contact with the people I represent in Lansing.
