The Trump Administration has suspended funding for Job Corps, leaving hundreds of young people hurting. Job Corps was created to help young adults who are willing to work hard, build a pathway to a better life. Taking this away will wreck these young people's lives and our communities!

Millions of Michiganders of all ages rely on Medicaid. Republicans in D.C. are gutting that lifeline, & House Republicans in Lansing want to do the same. I understand how vital affordable health care access is — I will continue to speak out against policies that leave MI behind.

Yesterday, I voted YES on House Bills 4007 and 4283. The workers and families of the U.P. face unique clean energy and utility challenges. As currently written, the law does not recognize the significant progress in reducing carbon emissions the U.P. has made by replacing coal power with coal replacement engines. I voted yes to protect and preserve union jobs—including steel workers—and to stabilize utility bills for families in the U.P.
