Stealing from the middle class one bad policy after another.
As we advocate for the safety and health of all Michiganders, I am urging the EPA to take immediate action to stop this dangerous plan. We must explore all available options to ensure that this waste is disposed of in a manner that poses no threat to local communities or natural resources.

I had a great time yesterday morning at the grand opening of Sheetz in Romulus off Wick road. This is their first location to open in Michigan. Despite the rain, it was a great turnout. Congratulations!

This afternoon I attended the Wayne County Commission public discussion on the hazardous waste coming to Wayne Disposal in Van Buren Township. I stand with our community and local leaders in opposition to the hazardous waste being transported into our district. Protecting public health and transparency are top priorities of mine. I want to thank the Wayne County Commissioners for holding this important meeting and everyone that came out to make their voices heard! I’m here to listen to your concerns and fight for transparency and safer alternatives.
