State Rep. Kelly Breen (D-Novi) was sworn in last Wednesday as representative for the 2021-2022 legislative session. The swearing-in ceremony marked the formal opening of Michigan’s 101st Legislature.
“I am thrilled to represent my community at the Capitol,” said Breen. “The 38th District has so much to be proud of, even during these hard times. I am honored to take my seat in the Michigan House and begin working for the interests of Michigan families, local communities, and our natural resources.”
Rep. Breen is serving her first term representing the 38th House District, which includes Novi, Walled Lake, South Lyon, Lyon Township and part of Northville. Breen is a former Novi City Councilmember. She is welcoming Taylor Darling and Aaron Martinez as members of her legislative staff.
