Dear Neighbor,
Keeping you informed on the latest happenings at the Capitol is a top priority for me. I hope you can join me for my second virtual community conversation of the year Monday, March 8 from 6 – 7 p.m. This month, we’re going to focus on transportation in our district, though I will still give a brief legislative update and answer any questions, comments or concerns you’d like to share with me. Joining me this month will be MDOT regional representative Steve Katenhus to talk a little bit about MDOT’s role in our community and future plans for Genesee County.
If you would like to ask questions, please register for this event or post on the Facebook event page. After registering, you will receive a confirmation email containing information about joining the webinar. This event will repeat the second Monday of the month from February to December. You’ll only need to register once and can sign up for all of my future coffee hours at the same time. These events will also be streamed live on Facebook.
Accessibility for all is extremely important. I am pleased to share that there will be an ASL interpreter at each of my coffee hours. I look forward to meeting virtually with you next week. If you cannot join us, the recording of this event will be posted on my Facebook page.
If you have any questions, comments or concerns, please do not hesitate to reach out to me and my staff at (517) 373-7515 or JohnCherry@house.mi.gov.
