The comment period for the maps that will draw the state House districts expires on Dec. 16.
It’s important to keep Grandmont Rosedale’s five neighborhoods united. They include Rosedale Park, North Rosedale Park, Grandmont #1 Improvement Association, Grandmont Community and Minock Park.
The problem is, Grandmont Community Association has been left out of ALL FOUR DRAFT MAPS.
We need to keep all five Grandmont Rosedale Communities together and not use Southfield Freeway as a dividing line. Let the Independent Citizens Redistricting Commission know that by clicking this link.
The commission is also holding a public meeting from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 16, at Cadillac Place, L150 Room, 3044 W. Grand Blvd. in Detroit.
