In recognition of their community engagement, on Jan. 25, state Representative Alberta Tinsley-Talabipresented a tribute to the Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority honoring the sorority’s work in the community. The presentation took place at the Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority’s Founder Day Celebration in Detroit. The sorority has been a great resource, providing volunteers and resources to the representative’s efforts to address blight and secure vacated properties in House District 2.
