BAY CITY – State Representative Charles Brunner (D-Bay City) invites residents to a coffee hour to share their concerns and ideas about state government on Monday, May 16, from 8:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. at the Good Samaritan Rescue Mission, 713 9th St. in Bay City.
“The Legislature is making decisions on the budget and other major issues right now that will affect virtually every resident in Bay County,” Brunner said. “People tell me they are especially concerned about tax increases on seniors and working families and funding cuts to schools. It’s important that I make myself available to listen to people’s input and opinions about these proposals. After all, my job is to represent our community and be your voice in Lansing.”
If your organization or business would like to host a coffee hour with Brunner, please call his office toll-free at (866) 737-0096.
Brunner encourages residents to visit his website, house.mi.gov/cbrunner, and sign up for his e-newsletter, which he sends out periodically with updates on his work in Lansing and in the community.
Brunner serves on the House Energy and Technology Committee and the Agriculture Committee.
