Dear Friends,
I have some great news to share! Yesterday, Gov. Gretchen Whitmer announced that three organizations — Kalamazoo RESA, Grand Valley State University and our very own Washtenaw ISD — will each receive about $900,000 in funding to support STEM education (science, technology, engineering and mathematics).
There’s nothing more important than ensuring children have the ability to explore their interests to the fullest extent. Grants are essential to replace aging and outdated classroom materials and improve learning outcomes. I’m thankful for the governor’s initiative, and I look forward to working with her to ensure every child can explore as many educational opportunities as possible.
Yours in Service,
Ronnie D. Peterson State Representative 54th House District |
