LANSING, Mich., June 23, 2022 — State Rep. Tenisha Yancey (D-Harper Woods) is glad to invite Michiganders to the Detroit Family Fun Day. This event is hosted by the Detroit Historical Museum, in partnership with the Detroit Caucus. It will be held on Saturday, June 25, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Visitors can enjoy lots of fun and experiences that bring Detroit’s history to life in innovative ways.
“This is such a fantastic event for Michigan families to learn about the history of Detroit, all while having a ton of fun,” Yancey said. “There will be free admission to the museum, raffles, refreshments and lots of opportunities to meet other community members. I’m grateful our city has events like these so that folks can come together to enjoy our dynamic and growing. Many thanks for the Detroit History Museum and the Detroit Caucus, too.”
