LANSING, Mich., June 28, 2022 — State Rep. Terry Sabo (D-Muskegon) is thrilled to announce the approval of funds from the Michigan Strategic Fund (MSF) for a project that brings the Global Life Sciences company to Muskegon Township, where it will manufacture resins for use in biologic medicines. The project will bring innovation and job creation to the local community, expecting to generate a total capital investment of $430 million and create an estimated 200 jobs.

I also want to express my gratitude to the Michigan Strategic Fund for its support via a $1.5 million Michigan Business Development Program performance-based grant, a $1.5 million Jobs Ready Michigan grant and a five-year state essential services assessment exemption valued at $2.7 million. MEDC Director Messer has kept Muskegon on his radar for great economic development projects like this one and we’re grateful,” Sabo said. “This investment means more high-skilled, good-paying jobs are moving to Muskegon. This is an exciting sign that points to continued business expansion in our thriving community.”
