The Michigan Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS) is hosting three free virtual baby showers to support new and expecting Michigan parents. Many programs within DHHS will participate in providing helpful information on available resources and also provide health and safety information. Some of the many programs include newborn screening, infant safe sleep, immunizations, early hearing detection and intervention, birth defects education and outreach, state breastfeeding initiatives, unintentional injury prevention, and oral health. This event will also give parents an opportunity to ask questions. Registration for the event can be found here.
