LANSING, Mich., Dec. 5, 2022 — Pfizer announced today that it would be investing $750 million in Kalamazoo County, creating an estimated 300 jobs. State Rep. Julie M. Rogers (D-Kalamazoo) released the following statement in response:

“I am thrilled to see this additional investment in Kalamazoo County and in our scientists, manufacturing and health. Pfizer’s longstanding commitment to Kalamazoo County has been productive for the company and our community. As a high school student, I attended the Kalamazoo Area Math and Science Center, which was established by Upjohn scientists, a predecessor to Pfizer. Today’s announcement is a welcomed development in the continued collaboration between residents of the Kalamazoo area and Pfizer.”
