LANSING – State Representative Marilyn Lane (D-Fraser) announced today that she will be serving as the Democratic vice-chair of the House Transportation Committee, as well as serving on the Energy and Technology Committee, Elections and Ethics Committee, and the Banking and Financial Services Committee.
“I look forward to putting my experience to work for our communities,” Rep. Lane stated. “The governor has made transportation his top priority for 2013, and I look forward to working collaboratively to finally pave the way to solving our long-term problem in building and maintaining a first-class infrastructure here in Michigan.”
With three decades of private sector experience in the transportation, construction and alternative energy fields, Rep. Lane expressed optimism that her skill sets and experience will match up to the Legislature’s top priorities in 2013.
