Vision Project Town Halls are opportunities to hear from Michigan House Democrats and share your thoughts with representatives directly. Each event has a theme based on one of the pillars of the Michigan House Democrats’ Vision Statement.

Democracy works best when the people’s voices drive policy priorities. As your elected representatives, Michigan House Democrats are honored by the trust you’ve placed in us. It drove us to take on this Vision Project, including developing a vision statement to guide our priorities for the road ahead. But we can’t get it done alone: We want and need your feedback to shape public policy to serve the best interests of all Michiganders.

We want to hear from you. What challenges do you face? What’s important to you and your community? What ideas do you have? What kind of Michigan do you want to build for your kids?

Our communities are feeling pressure from the federal and state levels as House Republicans continue to stall and delay state budget negotiations. Costs are rising thanks to Trump’s tariffs, and Michigan House Republicans are attempting to undo a lot of the amazing progress we’ve made in the past few years.

With so much up in the air right now, it is important that you share your experience. Michigan is at its best when we work together and treat each other with dignity and respect. House Dems want our policies to reflect that vision. Please join us for an event, take the survey online, and lend your voice to our shared future.

Banner with text: "We need your voice to help move Michigan forward. Take our 2 minute survey." On the right side is the logo and name of the VISION Project from Michigan House Democrats, featuring an eye symbol with an image of Michigan in the center.

Michiganders deserve more than to just “get by”, and that’s why House Democrats are fighting back against corporate greed and Republican carelessness to rebuild our schools, our roads, our environment and our access to affordable necessities like housing, food and medication. We want to put helping everyday people back at the center of Lansing’s focus instead of playing political games to please billionaire donors — at home or in D.C. The people of Michigan work hard; House Democrats will make sure their government works for them, too.

This is our vision, and we want Michiganders’ input to refine it. Please take our survey to share your thoughts.
