LANSING — State Rep. Tim Sneller (D-Burton) took part in a ceremonial swearing-in service before taking his oath of office for state representative today with the rest of his colleagues of the 99th Legislature.
“Being sworn in as state representative for the community where I was born and raised is an incredible experience, and a responsibility that I do not take lightly,” said Sneller. “My job is, and always has been during my 30-year legislative tenure, to serve Genesee County to the best of my ability. I look forward to representing the interests of House District 50 residents and making all of Michigan a great place to live, work and raise a family.”
Rep. Sneller was joined by his sister and brother-in-law, all of whom are UAW members and long-time residents of Genesee County. He represents the 50th House District, which includes the cities of Grand Blanc and Burton, as well as Grand Blanc and Mundy townships.
