“I would like to thank House Speaker Tom Leonard and Democratic Leader Sam Singh for appointing me to the House Committees on Workforce and Talent Development, Transportation and Infrastructure, and Regulatory Reform, and especially for naming me Democratic vice chairwoman of the Workforce and Talent Development Committee. While all three of these committees perform important roles, I am particularly excited about the interaction between the Workforce and Transportation committees. As our state begins the monumental task of rebuilding our infrastructure, we are going to need more skilled tradesmen and women to ensure this critically important job is done right. I look forward to working with my colleagues on these committees to create stronger infrastructure, a more robust workforce and a better state.”
