STERLING HEIGHTS — State Rep. Henry Yanez (D-Sterling Heights) invites residents to join him for a town hall about emergency response plans to a number of situations including active shooter situations, and how to be prepared to protect ourselves and our families at all times. Yanez will be joined by special guests from DTE Energy, the Sterling Heights Police Department and the United Way to discuss what to do during an emergency situation. The town hall will be on Thursday, April 19, from 6-8 p.m. at the Sterling Heights Senior Center, 40200 Utica Road in Sterling Heights.
