Chirkun sworn in as representative for 22nd House District

LANSING — State Rep. John Chirkun (D-Roseville) was sworn in officially today as representative for the 22^nd House District for the 2019-2020 legislative session. The swearing-in ceremony marked the formal opening of Michigan’s 100th Legislature. In response, Rep. Chirkun issued the following statement:

“The people of Macomb County want a government and policies that work for them, and that’s why I’m fighting to make that hope a reality. I am honored by the opportunity to continue serving my community, and I look forward to working with my colleagues to fix our roads, protect our workers, ensure Michigan’s families have every opportunity to succeed, and ensure the safety of the public.”
