LANSING — State Rep. Jim Ellison (D-Royal Oak) was sworn in officially today as representative for the 26th House District for the 2019-2020 legislative session. The swearing-in ceremony marked the formal opening of Michigan’s 100th Legislature. In response, Rep. Ellison issued the following statement:

“I am grateful that the people of Royal Oak and Madison Heights have once again given me the privilege of fighting for them in Lansing. I look forward to working with my colleagues on both sides of the aisle to improve our roads, expand opportunities for small businesses and protect our state’s drinking water and natural resources.”
