LANSING — State Rep. Lori Stone (D-Warren) was sworn in officially today as representative for the 28th House District for the 2019-2020 legislative session. The swearing-in ceremony marked the formal opening of Michigan’s 100th Legislature. In response, Rep. Stone issued the following statement:
“I am honored to be representing my community as their voice and advocate here in Lansing. In addition, I look forward to bringing our community’s issues to the forefront of our state’s policy conversations. From providing a quality education for every child to ensuring access to affordable health care to auto insurance reform, I will fight for everyone in Michigan to have the opportunity to learn, live and drive without worry.”
