LANSING — Tonight, Gov. Gretchen Whitmer gave her first State of the State address, outlining her vision for the state and calling for bipartisan collaboration to address the issues that matter most to Michigan’s working families. In response, state Rep. Cynthia A. Johnson (D-Detroit) issued the following statement:
“The people of Michigan finally have an advocate in the governor’s office, and the change that has been so desperately needed is already being felt. I am looking forward to working with Gov. Whitmer to bring this brighter future to Detroit and all Michigan families”
