Camilleri on New Boston Huron Bowling State Champs Visiting Capitol:
LANSING — Yesterday, state Rep. Darrin Camilleri (D-Brownstown Township) hosted the New Boston Huron High School bowling team following the conclusion of their season, which ended in a Division 2 State Championship. Following their visit, Rep. Camilleri issued the following statement:
“I was honored to host the champions of Huron’s bowling team here at the Capitol this week as they celebrated their state championship. It is always terrific to see the youth in our community achieve success; and in the world of high school sports, there is nothing greater than bringing home a state championship for your school. I’m so proud of this tremendous group for their hard work and dedication to their team and I hope this victory serves as a reminder for them of the greatness that lies within each and every one of them.”
