TRENTON— State Rep. Darrin Camilleri (D-Brownstown Township) was joined by Lt. Gov. Garlin Gilchrist today to honor Andrea Segedi as June 2019 Teacher of the Month for the 23rd House District. Ms. Segedi teaches second grade at Hedke Elementary in Trenton.
“Ms. Segedi is not only an amazing teacher in terms of her classroom instruction, she regularly goes above and beyond for her students with special projects like having kids visit local senior centers,” said Camilleri. “Through her incredible work ethic, positive attitude and dedication to her students, she’s a great example of the positive impact an excellent teacher can have throughout our Downriver community.”
Rep. Camilleri and Lt. Gov. Gilchrist visited Ms. Segedi at Hedke earlier today to present her with the award.
