“Republicans got it wrong when they forced through work requirements for Medicaid coverage on the people of Michigan. This policy is a clear attack on the health and well-being of Michigan’s most vulnerable residents. The expansion of healthcare must be inclusive of all Michiganders and our priority. I am pleased with today’s federal ruling blocking Michigan’s Medicaid work requirement. We must protect access for all Michiganders and ensure every family in the state can live without fear of having their health care taken away.”
