The Michigan Public Service Commission (MPSC) is advising Michiganders to prepare for the end of the Federal Communications Commission’s Affordable Connectivity Program (ACP), which will affect over 940,000 Michigan households currently enrolled. The ACP, which provided a monthly discount on broadband bills for eligible households during the COVID-19 pandemic, will end its fully funded discount [this month / in April]. The MPSC recommends that households check for messages from their internet provider about the ACP’s wind-down, and to go to the FCC’s website for updates.
