LANSING — Early this morning, the Legislature passed a supplemental budget which included several million in funding for a myriad of projects around the capital area, including the Heritage Hall project and crucial roads funding. In response to its passage, state Rep. Sarah Anthony (D-Lansing) issued the following statement:
“The supplemental appropriations bill included great things for the city of Lansing. The city received a $40 million increase for state capitol restoration and infrastructure upgrades to develop a new visitor center called Heritage Hall, as well as a $3.3 million enhancement grant for road improvements. I voted for SB 601, and I am excited to see the positive impact the additional funds will have on our community.”
