LANSING – State Representative Henry Yanez (D-Sterling Heights) announced today that he will be serving on the Military and Veterans Affairs Committee, Energy Technology and Commerce Committees.
“The governor indicated that helping our Michigan men and women who have served our country is a top priority for this legislative session, and I agree with him,” said Yanez.”I’m excited to work with my new colleagues to create beneficial policies for these heroes.”
Yanez also expressed enthusiasm in working on the Energy and Technology committee as a way to foster an environment for industries of new technology to locate and hire in Michigan.
