LANSING — State Rep. Angela Witwer (Delta Township) has hired Sophia Rishar as her new director of constituent relations. The position was formerly held by Chelsea Fraley, who has accepted a job in Sen. Gary Peters’ office. Rishar joins Joe Fedewa, Witwer’s current Legislative Director, to round out the staff.
“Although we’re sad to see Chelsea go, I’m happy for her and know she will make the most of this opportunity,” said Witwer. “Sophia has great experience and deep knowledge of our district, and I know she will make an excellent addition.”
Rishar currently resides in Delta Township and is a graduate of Grand Ledge High School and Northwestern Michigan College. She formerly worked as the Director of Member Services at the Country Club of Lansing.
