LANSING — State Rep. Kyra Bolden (D-Southfield) was sworn in officially today as representative for the 35th House District for the 2019-2020 legislative session. The swearing-in ceremony marked the formal opening of Michigan’s 100th Legislature. In response, Rep. Bolden issued the following statement:

“The people of Michigan made it clear that they want to see thriving schools, repaired roads and better paying jobs, and my colleagues and I are ready to get to work providing real solutions to those problems. I’m deeply grateful for this opportunity and could not be more excited to begin this journey in serving the families of Southfield and the people of our great state.”
