BAY CITY – State Representative Charles Brunner (D-Bay City) invites residents to a coffee hour to share their concerns and ideas about state government on Monday, April 18, from 5 p.m. to 6 p.m. at Expresso Express Coffee House, 916 N. Water St. in Bay City.

“I’m looking forward to holding this coffee hour with Mayor Shannon so we can listen to residents’ concerns about the issues that matter to them and their families,” Brunner said. “I know many people are upset about the proposed state budget. Most of the folks I hear from are not OK with putting massive tax increases on seniors and working families while drastically cutting funding for schools and local services like police and fire protection. This is a critical time for people to let me know how they feel about what’s going on in Lansing so I can do the best job possible of representing our community.”

If your organization or business would like to host a coffee hour with Brunner, please call his office toll-free at (866) 737-0096.
