Earlier this month, Gov. Whitmer presented her first state budget proposal to a joint session of the House and Senate Appropriations Committees. Her proposal focused on issues like fixing the roads, cleaning up our water, addressing our underfunded public schools and more. As always, I am able to best serve as your representative when I receive your input, so I am writing to you today to ask for your thoughts.
