Governor Gretchen Whitmer delivered her State of the State address virtually tonight, outlining her vision for Michigan and calling for bipartisan collaboration to address the ongoing issues facing our communities as the pandemic continues. In response, state Rep. Darrin Camilleri (D-Trenton) issued the following statement:
“Michiganders are struggling, and as communities across our state continue to be hit hard by COVID-19 and the challenges it has presented, we need to work together to pass real reforms now. I’m proud to stand with Gov. Whitmer and her plans to do so, including ramping up vaccine distribution, providing critical relief to our state’s workers and small businesses, supporting our schools, and finding a long-term solution to fix our roads and bridges.”
