WOODHAVEN — Yesterday evening, Gov. Whitmer announced the appointment of Woodhaven Mayor Pat Odette, longtime owner of Odette Chiropractic, to the Michigan Board of Chiropractic. Dr. Odette has practiced chiropractic care in Michigan for 37 years and has previously served as the vice chair of the Michigan Board of Chiropractic Examiners. Originally created in 1933, the Michigan Board of Chiropractic is responsible for licensing health professionals, as well as promoting and protecting the public’s health, safety and welfare. In response to the appointment, state Rep. Darrin Camilleri (D-Brownstown) issued the following statement:
“For over three decades, Mayor Odette has helped countless families across the Downriver area through her tireless commitment to providing the highest level of chiropractic care. She will provide excellent service in her expanded role to patients and doctors across the state, and I’m so happy to see her years of experience and hard work recognized with this much-deserved appointment.”
