Dear Friend,
The Legislature has been back in full swing for a month now, and already the issue of auto insurance has been hotly debated, with many coming forward to suggest various ways the state can lower the costs for ratepayers. With all of the different plans being discussed, it can be difficult to keep up. That’s why I am hosting an auto insurance town hall on Monday, Oct. 9, from 6:30-8 p.m. at the Riverside Arts Center’s “Off Center” location, 64 N. Huron St. in Ypsilanti. I will be joined at the town hall by a panel of special guests, including state Rep. Tim Greimel (D-Auburn Hills), who is the Democratic vice chairman of the House Insurance Committee. Please come join us for a robust discussion about how the current plans being debated in the state Legislature can affect the rate you pay for car insurance.
As always, if you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact my office at (517) 373-1771, or email me at RonniePeterson@house.mi.gov. You can also visit my website at Peterson.housedems.com to learn about what I have been working on in Lansing and when my upcoming coffee hours will be.
Sincerely,
Ronnie Peterson
