Reasons to Contact My Office
The short answer is any reason at all. As your state legislator, my number one priority is YOU. Any reason you can think of to reach out to me for help is the right reason. My staff and I are ready to listen and work with you to solve whatever challenges you may face. A few examples of why you may want to contact my office are:
- Commenting on current legislation or proposing a solution; as your voice in Lansing, it is critical for me to know how you feel about certain issues and I want to hear from you.
- The state offers a wide range of free publications on topics such as seniors and veterans services, child safety, consumer protection and more. If you would like one, or if you have questions about what is available, please contact my office.
- I will be hosting town halls and other community events throughout the year. If you need additional information or want to follow up on one of those events, then this is another excellent reason to get in touch.
- If there is someone you know who should be honored with a legislative tribute or certificate, please tell us about the milestones or achievements they have reached.
This is by no means an exhaustive list of reasons to contact my office; if you need help or assistance of any kind, please contact us. We will work side-by-side with you to find the answers you need.
Upcoming Events
Auto Insurance Town Hall
Please join me this Saturday, May 4, at 6 p.m., 51 W. Hancock St. in Detroit for a town hall to discuss ways the Michigan House is working to reduce auto insurance rates while ensuring injured Michigan drivers can return promptly to their lives, jobs, and families. Joining me is my special guest state Rep. Donna Lasinski, Democratic vice chair of the House Select Committee on Reducing Car Insurance Rates.
Vaping Legislation Press Conference
I will also be holding a press conference with the Hamtramck Drug-free Coalition on Monday, May 6, at 11 a.m. 11633 Joseph Campau Ave. in Hamtramck. We will be discussing new legislation. House Bill 4164, which would amend the youth tobacco act to prohibit the sale of vapor products and alternative nicotine products to minors and address the rapidly growing public health crisis of children vaping. Our expectation is that this legislation will prevent these devices from getting into the hands of our children. I hope you can come out and join me.
In Solidarity,
State Representative Isaac Robinson
