Dear Friends,

I would like to remind you that you are invited to join me at my two upcoming town hall events. The first will be on “The Future of Public School Funding and the Public School Employees Retirement System” tonight, Monday, June 5, at 7 p.m. at Ypsilanti High School, 2095 Packard Road in Ypsilanti. I will be joined by special guests state Rep. Tim Greimel (D-Auburn Hills) and Kirk Profit, former state representative from Ypsilanti.

I will also be holding a community conversation focused on updating residents on federal, state, county and township issues on Monday, June 12, at 6:30 p.m. at the Ypsilanti Township Civic Center, 7200 S. Huron Drive in Ypsilanti. I will be joined by special guests including members from Congresswoman Debbie Dingell’s office, along with Ypsilanti Township Supervisor Brenda Stumbo and Washtenaw County Commissioners Ricky Jefferson and Ruth Ann Jamnick. Topics for discussion include the new American Center for Mobility, the NEXUS Pipeline project, and how current and pending legislation affects Washtenaw County residents.

I hope you can join us at these events to discuss how these important topics affect you. Please contact my office at (517) 373-1771 to RSVP or with any questions or concerns.

As always, please feel free to reach out by phone or by email at RonniePeterson@house.mi.gov, and check my website to stay up-to-date on what I’m doing in Lansing at Peterson.housedems.com.

I hope to see you soon!

Sincerely,

State Rep. Ronnie Peterson
