101st Legislative Term Comes to a Close

Last Wednesday, the 101st Legislature met for the final time. It has been an honor and privilege to serve in the Michigan House of Representatives this term. I look forward to continuing to serve in the House representing the new 74th House District during the 2023-24 session. This new district includes all of South Lansing and Delhi Township. The other parts of my current district — Mason, Leslie, Stockbridge, Williamston and adjacent townships — are now a part of the new 73rd district, which will be represented by state Rep. Julie Brixie. Beginning in January, you can reach her office at (517) 373-0218 or

I will miss serving the small towns and rural areas of Ingham County that will no longer be part of my district, but I look forward to continuing to represent the Capital area. Additionally, I am excited to be part of the majority leadership team; next term, I will serve as assistant majority floor leader. Thank you for the past four years!
