Summer is right around the corner, and I, for one, have been enjoying the sun and warm weather. I am reaching out to let you know about upcoming events I have scheduled and a few opportunities for you.
Community Conversation
Our next Community Conversation will be Saturday June 3, at 11 a.m. at Coney Island — 27027 Gratiot Ave., Roseville, MI 48066. Please look out for my June newsletter for more information about hosted town halls called The Stigma and other summer events.
Applications
If you operate a small business, you may be qualified for grants through Comcast RISE. The application period begins June 1.
Also, if you have interest in becoming an operating engineer, there is an opportunity to apprentice with Operating Engineers 324. The next application period begins June 5.
