Ingham County Health Department Urges People to Get Vaccinated

The Ingham County Health Department is urging citizens to get vaccinated, as vaccination rates continue to plummet in Ingham County, especially for children. In an effort to reverse this trend, the health department has relaunched its Your Shot campaign to inform people about the harmful and deadly diseases that can easily be prevented with vaccines. To view your recommended immunization schedule, visit ICHD’s website here. To schedule an appointment at the ICHD Immunization Clinic, call (517) 887-4316 or email immunization@ingham.org.

Sept. 4 is Labor Day

I am proud to support working families in our state. That’s why I voted “yes” on legislation to expand workers’ rights and restore worker freedoms. I wish everyone and their families a safe and restful Labor Day weekend!

Sincerely,

Kara Hope

State Representative
