Get Your Child Tax Credit & Earned Income Tax Credit Due to the American Rescue Plan, more money is available to families and people with low-to-moderate incomes. Families can now earn up to $3,600 in Child Tax Credits, and more people with low incomes can receive $1,500 from the Earned Income Tax Credit. Everyone needs to file a tax return to get their full Child Tax Credit or Earned Income Tax Credit. To make sure you and your family get all the tax credits you are eligible to receive, file your taxes by April 18. All eligible families can receive the full credit if they make less than $150,000 for a married couple or $112,500 for a single parent in 2021. For more information, visit ChildTaxCredit.Gov. Investment in the Michigan Central Innovation District On Friday, Gov. Whitmer announced a $126 million investment to the Michigan Central Innovation District. The investment will focus on economic development, workforce development, community development and transportation innovation to deploy emerging technology. The partnership between the state, Detroit, Ford and Google aims to attract and retain talent and provide jobs and training to Detroiters. The next few years for Michiganders are looking up!
